This project provides educational assistance to marginalized but deserving children and youth to be able to stay in school to complete their studies and rise above their beginnings. The beneficiaries are selected on the basis of need and interest of the child in school (as manifested by their grades) and based on referrals from mentees, administrators and guidance counselors of public schools. The project provides stationery supplies, uniforms, books and snacks to these children each school semester. This project is sustained through in-kind donations from donors. Empower Youth International believes that education empowers people by opening a world of learning and opportunity even to the poorest of the poor.
