T.E.A.M.
Our mission statement: To enhance the resiliency of youth by increasing their self-esteem, strengthening their school-attachment, and fostering their ability to make positive life choices.
T.E.AM. (Together Engaging Adolescents through Mentoring) matches youth, ages 12-17 with caring, adult youth mentors. Once matched, the mentor and mentee meets once a week for two hours or more. The meetings are set on a week to week basis, depending on the availability of the youth and the mentor. Group activities take place monthly and director and assistant check in regularly to provide support. Mentors are provided with additional training and support throughout the programme. The mentorship programme is for a period of one year. To volunteer as a T.E.AM. mentor please click here.

“I attended Empower Youth International programmes to meet up with other young people and learn how to resolve conflict. People at EYI actually care and want to help you.”
