• An encouraging friend
• Interested in having a positive connection with a local youth
• Willing to commit 2 hours a week, every week, for at least 1 year

The primary roles of a mentor are to work with their mentee to establish a positive personal relationship and, building off of that relationship, to help their mentee establish life skills, access resources, and interact with different people, places, and things in a comfortable and safe way.
